Welcome to the website of ABOUT RESTORATION. This not a commercial website, but a site orientated towards sharing information about restoration of oil paintings and frames.

This website shows you some of our restoration work and ongoing projects.

The main language of the site is English, but parts are also in German, Dutch and French. In Belgium we are indeed used to communicate in our THREE national languages : DUTCH, FRENCH and GERMAN !

You will notice that the restoration reports are in one of these languages and are not translated. Some are in Spanish and Italian.

In the LIBRARY section you will find some usefull references, while the LINKS section will guide you to some interesting websites about restoration and conservation.
